Gospel Camp 2008

February 1-4, 2008:  The NOCBC Gospel Camp 2008 was held in Camp Living Water, Northshore, Louisiana, about 80 minutes north of New Orleans.  Pastor Liu, Tongsu and his pastor wife were invited to preach the gospel to the fellowship Chinese in the Greater New Orleans region. The two-day gospel camp was followed by a short spiritual revival meeting for our church members at NOCBC.  We greatly enjoyed the fellowship with them.  They will return in September 2009 to speak at the Lousiana Chinese Revival Retreat, cohosted by our church and our sister Church in Baton Rouge.

Gospel Camp 2009

March 27-29, 2009:  The NOCBC Gospel Camp 2009 was held at the church.  Pastor Li, Ling was invited to preach the gospel to the fellowship Chinese in the Greater New Orleans region. During first evangelical meeting, Pastor Li spoke about the meaning of "freedom" and its relation to Chinese culture. On the second day, we had a typical Louisiana Crawfish Boil at the church.  Associate English Pastor Christoph Bajewski shipped 600 pounds of live crawfish from Houma.  Everyone participated in and greatly enjoyed this cooking fellowship. During the second evangelical meeting, Pastor Li discussed how freedom is achieved through the gospel truth of Lord Jesus Christ.
